ReikiAnge
Sounds as though he's definitely better for being at home and not being moved between vets? Good boy Spike Hope you can both get some well deserved rest
houndzrus
Do you have any Rescue Remedy or anything else to hand that might help him relax, take the edge off his fear a bit?  Also, it would be worth asking if Arnica is ok to give him following his op? (I'm thinking it should be but am not an expert on homeopathy).   I do have rescue remedy, but forgot to ask about the arnica  How did the first injection go  He yodelled like only a greyhound can, but at so far so good  We're back from the vets and they ar pleased to see he is improving. I have three injections to give if needed and a bottle of liquorice flavoured liquid to help replace lost iron. Keith said he'll give Spike some Guinness if he doesn't like it!  Vet says there's nothing medically to worry about, Spike is generally being "A Greyound". She said any other dog would be ok, but they've never seen one as dramatic as him! He was a lot better in there today though. We've been to Tesco and Spike is still happily sleeping in the car. He can catch up on his sleep there, I think sleep is a great healer. There was a friend of ours in the vets with her greyhound Ollie, so Spike was happy to see him Slowly onwards, but in the right direction
