elefan
Thank you I should have updated the title as today Dolly is having a check up rather than x-rays. Malcolm is away for a couple of weeks and wanted Nick, one of the other partners, to see Dolly and check on her breathing etc. Good luck Dolly and for Wendy. Wendbert
Dolly got herself all excited and decided to cough when we got in to see Nick, but he's listened to her heart and chest and is pleased with how she is doing. He was with Malcolm when Dolly was in last week and had taken the photo's from the endoscopy so was fully up to date with what had been going on. The good news is that Dolly is what Nick would call "stable" so she's continuing on the Baytril (anti-biotics) and Metacam and is booked in for new x-rays on the 30th when Malcolm is back. Nick said they are hoping that the mass in an infection and is being shrunk by the anti-biotics and will continue to reduce in size but depending on how well the mass is reducing, thoracotomy could still be an option if its safe to do so. So all in all, not earth shattering news but on the positive Dolly is in herself very bouncy and lively, not having problems breathing and is otherwise a fit and healthy dog. Dolly was just happy not to be left there
