Wendbert
Not a silly question - does children going to school count as a necessary journey? I live in an area with a severe weather warning. I live in an area with severe warning too but still had to come in to work. I would have thought local area's will give out info on the radio etc in the morning.

Wendbert
Hope everyone and their animals keep safe Apart from hating being in this building when there are storms, I always worry what the drive home will be like and whether everything at home is ok

Wendbert
Dont leave it too late to go home if the weather gets to bad I did suggest to my co-worker that I should have gone home an hour ago Being serious though, if it does get as bad as forecast, I'll wait until it gets properly light before I leave. Helly, I don't think the storms are due to come up as far as you Same here....... Ooh, weird, its windy here in Swindon
safneo
laisydaisy, I would assess the situation in the morning. And listen to the radio. Its possible if its bad that they will close the school anyway. Also, I suppose it depends on your journey to school?

Melp
They are likely to go up as far as Helly. North west is red like most of the country and the Mersey is tidal. Be careful and stay safe everyone
