Not a silly question - does children going to school count as a necessary journey?

I live in an area with a severe weather warning.

I live in an area with severe warning too but still had to come in to work. I would have thought local area's will give out info on the radio etc in the morning.

Hope you're parents are ok Andrea :flowers:

Thanks, I'm sure they are.

Wind's definitely got up here in Pembrokeshire and now I can hear the rain ...... feeling there's worse to come ........ (and I haven't got any candles  - Oh knickers! )

Thats rubbish. My friend is at Dumpledale for a weeks holiday :( Hope she took lots of wet weather gear. Her dog wont go out in the rain anyway :(

Hope everyone and their animals keep safe :GroupHug:

Apart from hating being in this building when there are storms, I always worry what the drive home will be like and whether everything at home is ok

Dont leave it too late to go home if the weather gets to bad :flowers:

I did suggest to my co-worker that I should have gone home an hour ago  Being serious though, if it does get as bad as forecast, I'll wait until it gets properly light before I leave.

Helly, I don't think the storms are due to come up as far as you

Same here.......
