Why Am I So Damn Nervous?

I've been told there is a very well bred and socialised Labradoodle looking for a home near me, he's rubbing along very well with the 8 dogs he's living with at the moment, and I have always wanted a shaggy Lab cross (not fussed about the designer label)

So I am about to take Madam Missy who has a habit of burying any dog who stands up to her, to meet him - I hope she doesn't pick up on my nerves!

Hope it all goes well :flowers:

I remember last November when we took Polly to meet Eddie I felt like you. I had already fallen for Eddie on the rescue pages but knew he wasn't keen on all dogs (luckily for us the week before he had a prospective visitor and dogs and they never got on) but it was love at first sight for both him and Polly  On the first night at home I was really nervous but they bonded straight-away and we have never looked back!

Guess what I've got?

There was a lot of posturing, and he backed down every time :) So we bought him home (that was an experience - Missy in front foot well pulling horrid faces at hairy black thing on back seat who was just content to gaze out of the window). Got home, put Bonnie in the back garden, Missy in the house and got Louie through into the back garden to meet Bonnie, who thought he was sex on legs!!!! Missy joined them, marked everywhere he pee'd......... Then decided it was her job to teach him some manners! Bless him, every time he ducked away, I hope she gets tired of it soon. He's now snuggled down in the crate with a cheese dental kong, she's up in the office with me, and Bonnie is chilling in the kitchen......
