Losing Lacey

Yesterday my fourteen year old yorkie Lacey passed away whilst under anaesthetic. She went in for x-rays as she was having problems with her neck and spine and sadly never woke up. I adopted Lacey eight years ago as she was due to be put to sleep for aggression, she originally came to me for two weeks behavioural training and never left as, despite her willfull ways, her zest for life and enthusiam won me over.....that and nobody else would have her lol. I feel cheated as fourteen is not much of an age for a yorkie and she was still so young at heart that it has never even crossed my mind that I would lose her anytime soon. She will be greatly missed by me, the kids and all the rest of the clan...except perhaps Maddie the cat who did find Lacey's stalking of her a little tedious at times. I can't believe she's really gone.
