yes we know and are missing them loads!!! having spoke to their new "dad" on the phone Im 100% sure that they are going to be very happy in their new home. After the week we have had, Cambelt snapping on car causing damage to engine, baby has got german measles AND hand foot n mouth Diease so our holiday got cancelled and he spent his 1st birthday yesterday so poorly...the news of Mitzi n Bolo finally getting the home they deserve was very welcome!!!! and we will go and visit them in the summer as we have kindly been invited. Fee has hit the nail on the head, the poor bloke was physically shaking when he brought them back but I just wish he had said to his partner that he was wary of the size of him so they could have talked it over first, even gone away and come back when they had discussed it, she was so taken to them the minute she walked in so I expected she is as gutted as us. Couldnt have put it better myself it was a heartbreaker for us to let them go, confusing for them to leave us for pastures new and then sad that they had to come back after waiting for so long

Will do Thing is a feel bad now as we have a holiday booked half term week so they are being sent to another foster home, but if they dont settle there they will be coming back to us even if we have to cut the holiday short as we think they had enough stress yesterday.

They left us at lunchtime, and were back here by bedtime and had spent half of that time travelling there and back here, I just cant understand what went wrong they are a fab pair and like all dogs would be in a new home were confused and needed to settle which wouldnt happen in just a few hours. Within 5 mins of being back Mitzi was asleep by my feet and Bolo was rolling around the floor with hubby like a giant puppy they have both been a bit quiet today and following me around a lot. Mitzi is by my feet as I type and Bolo is fast asleep on sofa with my girlies

Oh no Cindy and Steve we are so very very sorry we are totally gutted to hear this, Snatchy gave the best chin snogs ever and we will all miss him. Run free Snatch you were one special lad, a true gentle handsome fella

LOL its the hubby that will drive me to drink more than the dogs!!!! bless him ... Mitzi and Bolo recieved their INAH leads etc this morning, Mitzi looks adorable in her bandana too, Bolo has a chunky neck so his didnt stay on long but they are fab! Wonder if they do INAH jumpers in man size???

I will bear that one in mind!

pup is a lab x which is what I feared so lab rescue cant take him but will mention him to anyone that is looking for a lab pup. Its a total mad house here!!!!!!

Bolo`s new collar, was hard to get a picture of him that showed it as he is so hairy! Mitzi`s new collar, same again hairy dog lol Mitzi`s stitches This one was taken 10mins ago

Ive got a lady coming tomorrow from lab rescue to see him, fingers crossed he is 100% lab and they can help find him a home, if he isnt then its back to the drawing board.... Will upload some pics now.... lol yep....mind you Bolo has his bouncy moments too, especially when you get the leads ready for walkies

They both were very good at the vets, Bolo had a good teeth clean and was microchipped, his breath was much sweeter this morning when I got my good morning kiss Mitzi had her lump removed off her back, she has 8 stitches which need removing in 10 days, she had a couple of teeth taken out and the rest cleaned, then a good groom and nail clip while still asleep so she wasnt stressed out and also was microchipped. we tried telling her she should rest quietly but the first thing she did when she came in was bring me the ball! she looks so much better now she has been brushed. added to all this I got lumbered with a 4-5mth old lab pup last night bless them tho they dont seem bothered! I thought Bolo might grumble as he is bouncy but he is being a real gent

Bolo and Mitzi would like to say a big soggy thank you to "Aunty Verity" for their new posh collars!!! they are glad to at last have some street cred and look forward to showing them off at the park this afternoon, they have told me to put the camera batteries on charge so they can also show them off to their fugee and oldie fans

Bolo is 24" Mitzi is 15" both allowing two fingers between comfortably They went to the vets tonight for their first Vaccs, they both need to return for dentals Tuesday next week and Mitzi will be groomed while she is under as she finds it very stressful being brushed and hasnt been grooming herself, her skin is quite dandruffy, she has a small lump on her back too which may be why she is so nervous of the brush so vet will remove that at same time, she did try to nip the vet when she was feeling her over and stuck the needle in, bless her but Bolo was a gent and took it all but he was a bit grumpy when he got back home typical man throwing his dummy lol but he is over it now

Sorry Ian, building site house and half term holiday! Here they are! Bolo Bear Ditzy Mitzy They are a lovely pair arnt they their only vice is food agression so feedtimes need supervising but apart from that they are a fab duo, Mitzy loves to play, she is currently chucking an empty coke bottle at me to throw for her now Cassie got the lid off it and is bored of it lol Bolo gives big soggy kisses and barks to let you know he wants food... he likes food!

yep they are here thanks to all that had a hand in getting them here safely Mitzi just wants to play ball! typical collie she has such a pretty face, needs a good brush and maybe to lose a pound or two at least its half term so I can get kids on ball throwing duty Bolo, well he is in awe of all the girlies he can sniff Bunty has told him no thats rude lol,he has quite a gruffy bark like he has a sore throat bless him, Cassie just sits there like a tart and Gizmo hides behind me lol, he isnt as big and fluffy as I imagined, not sure if he has been clipped maybe They have met the cat and wasnt interested in him so thats good news. Bit dark now so will get some pics tomorrow once they have had a good brush and have settled in abit more.

We have 2 new fosters coming all the way from Scotland today, Mitzi and Bolo they have quite a journey to make, (thank you transporters ) Im sure my dogs know something is afoot as they are in a funny mood today almost excited constantly on the go and following me everywhere too in case they miss owt Hope they dont mind the "building site" look as my kitchen is still a work in progress...slowwwww progress update and pictures to follow once they have arrived and sniffed about abit.
