Reiki healing

Have just got back with her. The vet still doesn't know what to think so is going to have a word with a soft tissue specialist and get back to me in the next week or so, when she has some information to give me. At the moment she is saying it is a fatty lump. It is invasive with the muscles. It won't be worrying Sheena in the slightest. She really doesn't know if it will continue to grow or stay the size it is. If it stays the way it is she will be fine. She wants to speak to the specialist to get a 2nd opinion from someone more in the know. The lump is in her leg but amputation is drastic at this point and the lump is still high up on her leg. So we'll now wait to see what the specialist thinks and whether she will want to see her as well. If this person feels the same as the vet it will be a waiting game to see how things develop and maybe more operations in the future. I'm feeling more optimistic having heard all of this as the other vet was painting a very bleak picture on Friday.

Thanks ever so much for the kinds words and thoughts. They have been a big help.

Loads of Reiki on the way for you both.

Could be worth also having a word with a homeopathic/holistic vet and seeing what they think . There are loads of alternative treatments that can help even cancer, so use this time to investigate all the possibilities so you know what you'd like to do if anything.

Fatty lumps often just stay the same for years with no treatment needed.

Hi Kay here have had some news on my health condition,I have major problems with my parotid gland with acute inflamation it looks like my own body is attacking this gland which is the one you get mumps in :( They are testing me for autoimmune disseas so feeling really low today and it looks like I may have to have acute surgery I f gland doesnt heal 5 hour op ouch!!!!!.There are lots of different reasons for gland probs and docs are trying to sieve out the ones that may be causing the problem unfortunatly most of the causes arent very nice so it looks like a long haul,Im here to thank you for the healing I have recieved Im sure at times I have felt something coming through to me almost like a warm comforting feeling straight out of nowhere :) Ive always been very level headed and closed my mind to alternative medicines but I am now a strong beliver  Thank you from the bottom of my heart and a big :GroupHug: for everyone including poochies that are going through health problems.

Katy, that's great that you're aware of the Reiki coming :)

Now that you're starting to realise alternatives can be helpful, can I suggest talking to a Homeopath before you decide on surgery and see if there's something they can suggest? To find one, try here

You can also see one on the NHS if you ask your GP for a referral, but probably a waiting list. Many Homeopaths are also qualified GPs who have gone on to study Homeopathy.

Have you looked into things to boost your immune system? Echinacea, Essiac etc...........?

Still sending the Reiki if you'd like it.

Could you please send Reiki to Merlin, a black cat who has been involved in an RTA. He apparently has a fracture near the base of his tail and there has been talk of amputating his tail I think. He's not been to the loo for a few days and I don't think he's eating/drinking on his own :(

I think he's about two years old, I have a photo of him (but it's a print not a digital/scanned image) from when he was a kitten, but apparently he still looks rather small and young now.

Thanks :flowers:

On the way Ange!

Has he been given Homeopathic Arnica? If not, well worth doing so now as it can make a big difference after RTAs, have read often of things like this and after arnica for a day or two, apparent paralysis resolves itself, I think sometimes it's more shock than anything. Worth a try anyway.

For fractures, Homeopathic Symphytum helps the bones knit together again.

Rescue Remedy or Star of Bethlehem too for the shock, and rather than try to get it into him, just drop the drops on his fur somewhere and rub gently in, it'll be absorbed that way. Mind you, top of head is a great spot if he's willing, or on a paw for him to lick off.

Often animals don't eat for a while as they need to use the energy to recover and heal, I've read of dogs and cats just curling up in a corner for weeks while their bodies heal, then they can come back fine, so hopefully that's what Merlin's up to.

Does that mean a scanner's next on the list?

I'm not sure what's been given as the request came from my f-i-l, he knows Merlin's owner, and brought the photo round for me. Can I forward your post to my f-i-l to pass on?

I might try taking a photo of the photo to load up and see how that turns out, can't see me buying a scanner!

Might not hear anything for a few days but will update when I know how he's doing - thanks :flowers:

Of course you can pass on the info :)

Should have thought to give you links to find a Homeopathic Vet if they're interested, even just to phone for advice?......

If you have a library near you, they'll have a scanner - they all do and someone will either show you how or do it for you. They're handy to have when you see a good deal

Look forward to hearing how he does
