Definately hope that the specialist agrees that its down to lack of food, that Tess is feeling so weak and she will perk up with the CORRECT treatment! Did you ask if they had not fed her previously? I would seriously question the way the vets have been treating her, hand feeding should have been done from the start, as should have been hand drinking (I did this with Cliffy Last weeke as he wouldnt get out of bed as he was too weak and poorly) and don't most people (vets included) know that pointies can be very vocal & quite 'whingy'.
