houndzrus Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 It was a nice day so we decided to go to Canine Capers, lots of stalls and some dog displays. Coventry Greyhound group had a stall too. There was a dog show as well and Spike got 5th in the best veteran class Cherry wasn't placed in the prettiest bitch, but she has shared Spike's winnings. Spike soon got his nose in the bag to see what he'd got! CGG stall Can't remember the name of the dog on the left, but Reggie on the right is going to his forever home this week. Cherry holding Spike's lead cherry with Heather who was trying to tie her shoelace! Give up Heather, it's not going to happen! Little oldie Scooby, who was on his last trip out today as he is not in the best of health One of the dog displays. I think these were all rescue dogs too. You're probably right, might have got a blue rosette instead of a girly pink one! I only saw the end of the display, but they were very good. All sorts of different dogs. Yantan Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 Well done Spike but you should have come 1st Cherry never got anything - were the judges blind I see she managed her favourite position - Ruby and I will never forget her roaching at Melton show right in the middle of the market with people skirting round her whilst you, Keith and Spike were looking at one of the stalls.
