barb
Hope everything will be better for you both today and you are not winging, you just need to talk to someone, nothing wrong in that. Remember, we are all wishing you both well and hoping for the best. Lots of for you. Barbara
houndzrus
We're back again I told the vets that I think the to-ing and fro-ing between surgeries is what's stressing Spike out as he's not getting a chance to rest. He's also being handled too much which has made him fearful of being touched. He was rested when I picked him up but then started stressing at our own vets surgery. It has been decide that they will show me later today how to give Spike his painkilling injection so that he can stay at home. He's actually been very good in the car, so i've covered him in a large blanket and left him there to sleep. I keep checking every ten minutes or so, but he's still sleeping soundly. Let's hope we break the cycle of fear as that's all that's holding him back.
ReikiAnge
That's good news - about you being able to give him his injections. It's not ideal to have to move him between surgeries each time is it. Hope that will allow him to relax a bit and heal as he needs to
rufus the wonderdog
Glad to hear that Spike is home again and receiving lots of mummy love It should be less stressful for the lad if he's not constantly being moved back and forth and with you and then away again. Will keep you all in my thoughts and hope the next news is positive
safneo
At least he will be at home with you and you can all get the rest that you need. If he is not stressing and has his pain relief, hopefully he will pick up quickly Still thinking of you all

Jacobean
Hoping he gets a good rest today in the relaxed environment of home and stops all the stressing. He'll pick up on any emotions you feel but I'm sure you know that. Keep talking to us as much as you need to. Thinking soothing and positive thoughts for him.
