  3. No mine never rubbed and only needed to wear one pair of socks otherwise my feet would have been very sweaty as they are warm enough with one pair! Sue
  4. They are Derwent. Did you have a slippery walk ? Sue It could be that mine are worn a bit, but thinking back although they are so comfy,warm and I love them to bits,I have never felt 100% safe when in slippy muddy conditions.I am always aware of this and try to tread and pick my route carefully. Sue
  5. Interesting to see how you get on with the grip of these? I have 2 pairs, one for riding and genarally for up the farm and one for dog walking. I do wear them an awful lot as I am a dog walker have not been impressed with the grip. Have nearly gone a few times in wet mud. Sue

  12. Ah I didnt know there was a walk going on there,thats where I used to live before getting married and now live in Leics. We used to keep our ponies in the fields immediately surrounding the castle before the water which would have been the moat I suppose ! Lovely pictures of lovely dogs. Mum and Dad still live there,could have called in for a cuppa!   13. I also know of a horse who reared in this kind of stabling with bars and he got his leg stuck between two bars. He was destroyed as he broke his leg so badly. Suzanne

  16. I use easibed on the base of my run. You will find it at horse tack shops, animal feed merchants. It seems to absorb the poo,keeps odours to a mnimum as it has eucalyptus oil in it whick keeps the flies away. I do a whole run change every month.Its great. It composts down reallt quickly too.

  18. Have never owned a pair of crocs! What size would I go for? I normally have a 6 1/2 or 7 depending on width. remember reading once they are not true to our sizes? Sue
  19. I have used it on a nervous youngster to clip and it worked well. A friend used one and a half syringes on her show cob and he was still hypo.Vet said it doesn't work on all of them and this is obviously right!

  21. There is no difference,they are the same. Originally called German Shepherds then over time changed to Alsatians and now referred more to German Shepherds,think thats sort of right but same dog at the end of the day!
  22. Nice shoes!!! I decided not to come as since Woody was attacked by Henry,he is fear aggressive of other dogs and its a nightmare.He was so friendly before and I am desperate to try and overcome this problem.Thank goodness he is fine with Harry and Jess still.
