Ooooooooooook

Weight: 9st 3lbs

B.M.I: 24.1

Body Fat: 26.7%

Think I must have done the body fat grip thingy wrong or summit  ah well its only a pound but every one lost is a good thing!

Do you measure your body fat at the same time each week? The reason I ask is my body fat can vary by 2% during the day, and my weight by as much as 4 lbs. We bought some scales for the house last week and I have been a bit sceptical about them, hence keep going on them alot to check out my theories about them being pants.

Got weighed tonight and as I was at Swallows Dance with Joe and we socialised, which included eating, with the Dumpledale gang for 5 nights, I stayed the same weight. Am very happy with that indeed :D

Thanks to Andy who cooked us a slimming world dinner :flowers: It was delicious. I love Andy

I've been really good this week, it's my first week, and I've only lost 1lb :(

I know it's ok cos at least I've lost something but would have liked a little bit more for my efforts

Well done to those who have lost this week!!!!

Stick with it :flowers: I've found I can have a week when I stay the same, despite sticking to the foodpacks alone, then the next week lose 4lbs or more :GroupHug:

Thank you - I'm quite determined to lose this weight so I'll keep going!

The encouragement and inspiration from 'fugees is really fantastic and really helps :)

Pretty much, go to Boots at roughly half 12 every Monday, it varies by say 5/10 minutes ... have to grip the handles on the side of the machine so I think I just didn't grip them as hard as I have done in the past or summit .... we'll see next week!! :flowers:

can I ask a question, I am on a healthy eating diet thingy cos I was so ill over christmas that I need to give myself a boost.

I have decided to cut down on fat and carbs and eat more fruit and veg etc.

Anyway today I bought nuts and trail mix to snack on, but noticed that they are both very high in fat, including saturated fats, so does this mean I should avoid dried fruits and nuts if I am trying to lose weight?

I only started on monday, umm yesterday

I wonder if any of you SW people have a recipe for a low fat cheese sauce please :flowers:

Well done every one who lost this week :flowers:

From the saucy secrets book:

28g sauce flour? not sure what that is.... cornflour maybe?

284ml veg stock

113g grated cheddar cheese

1 level tsp dijon mustard

2 tbsp freshly chopped flat leaf parsley

salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Whisk the flour into stock, then pour into a pan and cook until thickened.

Stir in the cheese and continue cooking whilst stirring, until melted.

Add mustard and parsley. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Edited to add, servers 4, 1.5 syns per serving green or red. :)

Alternatively, if its just for one person, melt a few 'laughing cow lights' in the micro

Carr's Sauce Flour - means you can do sauce w/out butter & milk
