Thankyou everyone. He is rather special! And yes he does only have one brain cell He is a perfect gentleman, settled down for bed last night with no problems at all and no accidents in the night. Came down to him this morning and was greeted by a big waggy tail and a big grin Mrs Chicken, We did keep it a bit quiet as i didnt want to jinx anything, and its been hard deciding on getting another dog since loosing Chance in Feb, i still miss him like mad I am so happy we made this choice tho, he really is a lovely dog. another may follow in the next 6 months

As the last poster said, If you can up your hours to 16, it would make things alot easier for you. You could then claim working tax credits and CTC, plus any maitenance you are paid will go directly to you and you keep every penny. If on income support, you will receive £20 IIRC and the CSA keep the rest. or if you have a private arrangement, they will deduct anything more than £20, pound for pound off income support. You "may" be entitled to help with the cost of the interest on your mortgage, but only after 13 weeks. You can get free school meals for the children. Not sure where your friend is located, but we have the 125th lincolnshire show coming up in summer. 1000's of people travel from all over the country to come. Might be worth enquiring about getting a small stand and showing his items plus could be a great opportunity to get some orders! Not sure when the closing date is for getting a stand though. They still do ranirottie, its called the surestart maternity grant. It worth £500 but it is means tested so you have to be on certain benefits. The one that Terri has linked to is non means tested, therefor every pregnant woman is entitled to it :0)

Hi all. well youve probably noticed i dont really come on here that much anymore. Now that i dont have a dog i suppose i feel a bit akward, although i know i shouldnt as the refuge is generally a place for anyone as your all welcoming ppl. anyway, instead of a doggy clip, i thought i'd show you all how Cameron is doing! My ex's daughter died this morning at 5.30am. She was 3 yrs old and had been battling cancer for the whole of her short life. She had a tumor in her brain and one in her stomach. She was put on life support lastnight as she had stopped breathing for 28 minutes. She was then declared brain dead this morning and taken off the life support. My ex and i have a son together and he lives with my ex. He hasnt been told yet as his dad wants to tell him when he can be with him and not have to leave to go to work/hospital etc. I have my son today so that his dad can say goodbye to his daughter. Please could you think of little Charlotte today. Reast peacefully little sweetie, you battled long and hard and never complained. good night xxxxxxx

My friend bought the most beautiful wall hanging thingy the other day. It was 3 love hearts, in a line downwards, each one embroidered, and hung together by ribbon. I would happily buy something like that (they only had one when my friend bought it). Lt lokked fairly easy to make. basic shape i.e heart, two peices sewn together and the top left open, then edged with feather boa type thingy. You could do something very similar and embroider the childs name on? LOL, Yes he's always forgiven, just one flash of that smile and my heart melts. Yesterday everytime he took a mouthful of food he blew a raspberry which sprayed it everywhere, OH was not impressed as i sat a pe*d myself with laughter hahaha
