  1. Fingers crossed for Murph's continued improvement.
  2. So very sorry to hear that Barney did not make it through. Run free at the bridge sweet boy with all who went before.
  3. Run free at the bridge pretty girl....you were much loved.
  4. Well I guess individuals could have anything they wanted on it only restricted by the space to engrave at a sensible/readable size. I use basic circular metal 1" tags for my own dogs and engrave 4 or 5 lines with max. 12 letters across the widest part. The engraving is done with a diamond cutter and is readable for years on tags worn every day by my various dogs over the years.
  5. The reason I asked is because I have an engraving machine (proper one not a hand one) so if you get some and send to me I could engrave the backs for free and send on to people who requested one and paid the OC for it. As I said previously though I would think only Surname and Tel. No would fit on at a sensible, readable size.
  6. That's cute! You could only engrave on the blank side obviously which wouldn't give a lot of room. Probably only Owners Name, Phone number and maybe 'microchipped' would fit on in a readable size, I would think. How much are they from other companies which include the engraving?
  7. Very best wishes for Barney. Hope this is something easily treated.
  8. Glad things are back on track so the OC can continue with its work and help more dogs into new homes.
  9. What a shame things didn't work out for them. Fingers crossed for some good news soon for these two beauties.
  10. Continuing to send very best wishes over for your beautiful girl.
  11. Nice one!! And not actually so far-fetched that you couldn't believe every word.
  12. Glad there was a happy ending with this tale!
  13. Well done all. Glad the weather was kind and you sound to have attracted plenty of attention for the OC with the help of those gorgeous dogs.
  14. Got to feel sorry for the little dog, but I certainly wouldn't offer to pay. It was totally the owners fault in my opinion and lots of dogs would have reacted like your Daisy being run at by (probably) yappy little dogs.
  15. Run free at the bridge little man, knowing how much you were loved.
  16. Very best wishes and healing thoughts being sent Cocoa's way.
  17. This was a terrible thing to happen. So sorry for all involved but I am glad your daughter isn't badly hurt and will be home again soon.
  18. What a gorgeous looking dog you have there. Lovely to know that his nature is as beautiful as he is. Hope you have many more Gotcha days to enjoy with him.
  19. Well done all! Glad you had a lovely day for once too.
  20. Fantasatic news. Have a long, happy and healthy life Ginny and bring joy to your new owners.
  21. Brilliant effort all round. Well done people and dogs.
  22. Run free at the bridge Shadow, with friends who went before.
  23. Greyhound/whippet air fresheners arrived safely this morning. Many thanks. Sounds like you might need to get more of this one if you can....there are a lot of people these would suit I reckon!
  24. Well, apart from the OC of course and fostering dogs for whoever seems to need it most, I make coats for GIN and the Spanish galgos and volunteer at my local RGT kennels. Wouldn't say I have a favourite as there are many I would like to support if I wasn't on a pension or could win the lottery!
  25. To be honest, I think we all benefit as much as the dogs with any of the ways in which we try to help. These precious little old souls give so much in return and it is always a joy to read of another finding a loving forever home.....just makes my day anyway!
