My Tessie (Daddys Girl)

sorry if this sounds a bit selfish but I really hate

living like this, Iwake up each morning dreading what I may

find when I go downstairs :mecry: . and if something

happened to her while I was at work.

After losing my darling Lisa last year I had hoped to have a better 2010, but

it looks like cancer yet again will tear my heart in two.

She is ll now, and I have only had her for 3 short years, I just want to keep

her safe :mecry: , but now I can't and it breaks my heart

Apologies for going on so long

Nige

No apologies needed Nige, we're all here for you. :GroupHug: :GroupHug:

I took Princess Tessie to the vets last night so he could look

at here and discuss the future for her.

She put on her usual diva performance there and wouldn't

even let me read a magazine or look around without her dancing on

her back legs trying to bop me in the face with her paw whilst

barking at me (I think she is saying dadddy dady me me  )

She can be a very clingy girl sometimes.

Well she is on steroids to manage the growths in her lungs and

also a bronchodilator just to help open her airways.

I have a months supply and agreed to see how she is, if she

starts to really suffer I said I wouldn't let her get that far.

We will be going back next month to see her condition then, if it's the

same (which is good right now) I will get more medicine for her and

go back in 3 months time (unless she deteriorates badly)

She really is my snuggly cuddly little girl and a brilliant big

sister to Cliffy & Archie

i read you were worried about her whilst you were at work.... i don't know if possible and i am not too sure how you do it (or if your job gives you access to a computer?) but how about setting up a webcam and you can logon and keep an eye on tessie as and when you can? i have no idea how you do it but i am sure somebody on here would know :flowers:

:GroupHug: Nige I know just what you are going through right now. Each time Daisy collapses I wonder if this will be the one where her heart doesn't kick start again.I come in from work and if she doesn't come to greet me I panic - but it's because she's fast asleep usually.I know you'll do the best for sweet wee Tessie,I do hope the steroids work and the time you have together is much longer.

Will keep thinking of you both Nige. If you want to meet up any time or have a chat/need help you have my number. I'm around evenings and weekends.

Hoping she's with you a good while yet. It is hard when you've only had her 3 years. That's how long I had my 2 girlies from Oldies Club but you will still have good memories and have packed in a lot of good times with her. She couldn't have wished for a better Daddy.

Hope the meds kick in quickly and help her a lot. :GroupHug:
