Rumpole
maudie moo slipped during torrential rain on our wooden deck and has torn her cruciate It was a really tiny stumble and certainly not worthy of the damage it seems to have caused, we have her on rimadyl to reduce the swelling prior to her being referred to a specialist in a week or so. positive thoughts would be appreciated as shes had a horrendous life before being rescued and really deserves a blissful retirement

Rumpole
shes hardly putting her weight on the leg at all just the very tip of the toe is touching the floor, though she doesnt seem to be in pain we are hoping for a little improvement in the next few days but shaun (lovely vet) thinks an op is likely to be the only outcome thank you for your continued positive thoughts they are much appreciated

Rumpole
weve been back to vets tonight, although her cruciate has stabilised a little the patellas in both legs are luxating when manipulated so we will be doing xrays to verify the diagnosis and then its down to the specialist, luckily we have an excellent specialist who we have used in the past with rescue dogs in worsley only a few miles away, so have asked to be referred there. Happylittlegreensquirrel
Maude , Salem cat had his cruciate repaired and he said the loss of fur and dignity ( he had a baldy bum ) was by far the worst thing , he hopes that Maude as a Laydee does not suffer the same level of embarrassment he did
