Katiebob Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 One of my lovely blue bitches, Gemma , is off to the vet tomorrow to be spayed but also for a kidney biopsy as we have discovered - on a routine scan - that one of her kidneys is abnormal. Unfortunately she's been in season for the last 2 months so the spay itself will not be as straightforward as normal because of the amount of blood, plus kidneys bleed a lot so I'm much more concerned that I would normally be. I'm just hoping and praying that my little girl comes back home safe and sound. I know I shouldn't be worried, because I do trust my vet, but I don't think I'm going to be reassured until I know she's come round from the anesthetic and eating/drinking normally.
