redditchlady
I was going to gloat and say all our shopping is finished. However I forgot the bread rolls. Shall send Dave in the morning to get them. Hopefully he may make it back before Xmas lunch
Anniegirl
I found it all very easy, sat at the computer, ordered my food and nice Mr Tesco delivery man arrived last night absolute bliss. I will have to go into town tomorrow morning to get some fresh rye bread from the bakers but that is it
Brenda
Arrived in Tesco at 8.30am this morning, relatively painless, found a spot to park ok and no queue at checkouts. However, I was annoyed as they had run out of things such as trifle sponges & bread sauce, so shall have to go to Morrisons in a while.
Annie
I have the *pleasure* of Tesco this evening From reading this thread I'm thinking I may need to borrow some of the American Football gear my OH has in the garage and just plough my way through with shoulder pads and helmet That is of course if I can park in the first place
celeste
I went to M&S in Perth yesterday morning....................big mistake, it was heaving, you couldn't even get near some of the shelves, and of course there were still the donughts that insist on having a nice chat in the middle of an aisle and nobody can get past, and the parents who think it's ok to wander round with a massive all terrain buggy the size of a Mini GRRRRRRRRRRR, I think one of the mums had lost the plot a bit, she kept using her buggy to smash past trolleys her poor toddler needed a crash helmet with her driving. Can you tell I love shopping.......................not
phoebejo
Me and three of the girls went to Sainsburys in Swindon and it was painless! Drove in, parked in a parent & child space right next to the door! Got all the bits we needed except mascarpone, didn't have to queue up at all. It was busy in there but not unbearably so. tracey.s
I've been to ASDA tonight (as i have to work tomorrow and christmas day, and because of work haven't had chance to go before ) It was absolute bedlam in there Some of the shelves looked like they'd been attacked by a swarm of locusts, and i queued 20 minutes at the checkout. It took me 2 hours in total.
Red Rotties
Just back from tesco, half an hour from leaving home to getting back again, although they had run out of bread and the delivery isnt due until 4.30am so will have to do a quick trip in the morning to the little tesco
ReikiAnge
I found it all very easy, sat at the computer, ordered my food and nice Mr Tesco delivery man arrived last night absolute bliss. We did the same, only with ASDA. It was delivered yesterday morning, I was pleasantly surprised at how little they had to substitute. I'd already got a half-price Christmas pudding when we were still shopping with Tesco a while ago so that bit was sorted. I'm allergic to supermarkets - I hate the places and I also start feeling migrainey because of the lighting after a few minutes of being in one - so I try to avoid going to them when at all possible
cycas
We went to the farmers market on Sat and got most of our stuff there: much more civilised than the supermarket. I popped to the Co-op today for bread and orange juice. There was no queue.

doggy.lover
We went to ASDA at 4.30 this morning, by the time we came out at 5.45 the car park was almost full. The shelves however were fecking empty
depurple1
OH went to Sainsburys on Saturday for all the non-perishable stuff, during the Strictly Come Dancing final. He figured it would be empty and it was I did the veggies and turkey from the local farm shop today, and that was fairly quiet too
