Well done Scoobs

Archie had a bit of an unpleasant visit to the V.E.T.S this morning where he was jabbed and had his anal glands emptied. He swore like a trooper at the V.E.T.

Anyway I took him and George on what was supposed to be a nice walk but Archie got attacked by a Husky. No harm done - the owner of the Husky was in like Flynn and pulled his dog off. I didn't fall out with him as he aplogised and was very worried about Archie - however Archie now isn'this usual sunny little self and is all "woe is me" so if anyone has some good thoughts going spare we'd appreciate them. I have double checked him and there are definatley no wounds and he's walking OK but perhaps he's bruised

Poor Archie - perhaps he's sulking, first of all he gets taken to the V.E.T. and poked with a needle, then he gets fingers shoved up his behind and quite apart from the loss of dignity there's the fact it's not very pleasant, then whilst he's trying to put it all behind him a ruddy big hairy thing jumps on him for good measure... if I were him I'd be sulking and planning revenge

Poor lad. We have a few Huskys around here and they are always kept on lead. One reason being cos otherwise they would beggar off but the owners also have told me that they don't do other dogs. He's probably feeling sore from being knocked about bless him. Hope he's feeling better later. :GroupHug:

:GroupHug: Alex. Really hope you can shake this off soon. Have you spoken to the specialist about Max?

I've been washing clothes for 30 odd years so why on earth am I reading the manual before shoving stuff in the machine

I went to visit a friend today and had a lovely time. :)

Both Rosie and Kizzy have kennel cough now and I have no idea where they [icked it up. :( They are hacking away but are still bright and lively. In fact, Rosie looks better than she did a few days ago,I think the ear drops are working. x

Archie says "fank yew" for the good thoughts and for the Reiki from auntie Ange :flowers: He's wrapped up in a blankie on the sofa. I haven't given him anything - like Rescue remedy - as I thought it best to just leave him in peace. He gets stressed up when ever anything has to be administered. I just keep popping thro to soothe his brow and tell him what a poor boy he is but never mind he'll soon be feeling better. I've got him a bit of steak out of the freezer to see if that will help him feel better

Alex I hope you are soon feeling better :GroupHug:

Hope Archie is feeling better soon, I'm sure having a rest will help  I sometimes put a drop or two of R/Remedy on top of their head and tips of their ears and rub it into the fur/skin, if that would be less stressful for him, once he's woken up? I also have liquid Arnica, as the vet advised for Sweetie, so I can just drop a few drops on the dog's nose/upper lip so they can lick it off.

Alex - It's a Hoover OPH714 D and it's now hoperating. Write down a load of questions you want to ask on the day at the specialists cos when you're there you may forget something. Will be thinking of you both. Is it the building on the Wirral you're going to? That one is very swanky.

Marion, I tend to buy my homeopathic remedies from Helios - if you just ask for it to be in liquid form, that should be fine as I have done that with a number of remedies through them. I tend to buy mine in 30c "strength".

http://www.helios.co.uk/contact.html - I usually phone the order through and they are very helpful and quick to despatch :flowers:
