And the Saga continues...

I couldn't reach Roger so I have emailed Rosie just now in case they know something.

I have also re-sent the fax to her solicitor again this morning and this time she acknowledged to Lilly via Bebo that the solicitor received it. However, she still has made no contact and claims she cannot reach me by phone. At this stage the whole thing is getting ridiculous. I have had EIGHT emails re Bruce when I logged on - NONE of which were from her.

What else can I do apart from looking like a complete muppet?

I have to drive 20 miles each time I want to send a fax and I feel a response if by now in order.

I will do no more. :(

Edited to say: I've also had loads of phone calls today, most of which related to Bruce, so I cannot for the life of me see how she can't get through. I've also texted her to the number Amanda gave me.

Hi Shannon this is an extremely important message from Sarah in EGAR. She wants you to know that she has resent the fax to the solicitor today at 10.30am and it went through ok. You can contact me on 0857850684 if you have any questions.

EGAR has faxed a letter to the solicitor to confirm that they have offered a rescue space for Bruce in the ROI. EGAR specialises in bull breeds so bruce would be in great hands there, if it can be sorted legally by the solicior and Shannon agrees. Hope it works out. Amanda x

East Galway Animal Rescue (EGAR) in southern Ireland have offered Bruce a rescue space. This is an experienced rescue and Bruce will be safe there. Can his owner or solicitor please reply/contact EGAR urgently.

Yes, after she repeately said my number wasnt working :s I bit my tongue and called her. I shouldn't be doing all the chasing but in any case, she makes no sense in what she says. However, I have again offered to take him.

Will be thinking of you on 29th June - I have followed Bruce's story for months since I found out - you have worked tirelessly, best of luck in behing able to take Bruce.

What can we do about the welfare issues of how he has been kept in the kennels? I only know from the owners video, but that in itself and the condition of his muzzle seems strong cause for concern.

Maybe it would have helped if she had bothered to appear in court. Or if her solicitor had gotten back to me as I had offered to be present as I thought it might sway the judge to release him to me and be rid of the case. If this dog dies than she has herself to thank for it. There are no words to descripe how I feel right now.

No contact has been made. She says on her Bebo page that my website and my email are "fake" and that she never received the fax which I sent to her solicitor at her request. There isn't much more I can do.. :(

Was she born ignorant, or just grew that way FFS :(

Really really hope he can be saved.

If the court see's and hears about all the faxes and attempts to contact

this woman by Sarah, he might overturn the ruling

What sickens me the most is that there was a REAL chance of a legal precendence (sp?) which could have let to a review of the DDA in NI or at the very least the consideration of adopting the amendment. And the numpty owner threw it all away.

I am regulary talking to a guy who has had 3 dogs taken off him over 2 years ago. He is bending over backwards to get his dogs freed, he's there at EVERY court hearing, no matter how small, he never gives up. I had this grown man weep on the phone to me. WEEP! He now suffers from depression and it's taken a huge toll on his health.

He never went after glory, he never posted on Bebo. And she fecked it up for him - royally

The whole thing is confusing me. Do we know why the owner didn't go to court? Was the decision likely to have been different if the owner had attended court?

I'm very sorry to hear about the guy you speak to Sarah - the dogs have been held for two years? :mecry: Is that in Northern Ireland too?
