mooandboo
Oh is Kale nice, I picked some up in Lidl the other day and put it back cos I didn't know how to cook it!!! It is - very I just slice the leaves and steam them for about ten mins then toss in butter/marg and black pepper. It's supposed to be vile cold but I didn't think it was - doesn't stay hot for long Can't wait to see pics of Izzie

ReikiAnge
Welcome home Izzie I am most excited at getting some new dog beds today and at the fact that I had some more biodegradeable poo bags (the corn starchy type) delivered the other day. I think I have reached middle age

I think I have reached middle age If you have then I reached it ages ago - I love dog beds and would buy more if I could possibly justify it in any way (Riley has one in each room of the house - and I've already donated 3 rescue) and I got very excited when I first found biodegradable bags

I have so many dog beds!!! They have 2 normal beds and 1 huge big flat one upstairs, a pile of duvets downstairs and 3 special outside beds (Cooper and Cromwell like laying outside in the sun) And yes usually they are found asleep on my bed or the sofa!! Outside beds you say - now there's a thought. At the moment Riley has to cope with her kitchen bed being brought outside for her
Ciren
Careli hubby was diagnosed with dietry controlled diabeties last year. it was a bit of a shock but you CAN stil;l have sweet stuff you just have to be ultra watchful of your diet. the doc's should be able to give you lots of advice and support and if you ever need to vent my inbox is always open. try not to worry as it isnt the end of the world

Rileyroo
RMQ: Where can I get some garden netting from - about a 1m high and about 6m long? Preferably with supporting posts of some description? I need to fence off part of the garden (we're planting a chamomile lawn) and stop Riley's pee from killing the poor little chamomiles until they've had a chance to bed in. I've looked everywhere (garden centres, DIY shops, specialist netting producers on the internet) and it seems I'm asking the impossible.
Careli
Hope you don't have diabetes but if you do - well you do very quickly get adjusted to the changes you have to make. And you can still have nice stuff that's low sugar and a few sweeties and a bit of chocolate from time to time depending on your levels I had an awful sweet tooth but I have adjusted pretty well and if I can do it anyone can. Careli, hope your visit to the docs goes ok Careli hubby was diagnosed with dietry controlled diabeties last year. it was a bit of a shock but you CAN stil;l have sweet stuff you just have to be ultra watchful of your diet. the doc's should be able to give you lots of advice and support and if you ever need to vent my inbox is always open. try not to worry as it isnt the end of the world Thanks guys The thing is I don't feel unwell. Extremely tired yes but nout unwell. When they suggested it yesterday I just poo-pooed the idea. However, the more I think about it the more I realise I do actually have the majority of symptoms apart from weight loss. For the last few months I've been hungry all the time, have been eating like a horse and have actually put on a fair bit of weight But like I said, I can attribute all the symptoms to to other possible causes. Deep down I'm sure I haven't got diabetes. Hopefully will know more tomorrow.
