Wendbert
The vet just called. She hasn't been able to get hold of Tom, the oncologist, but agreed to go ahead with giving Bumpy steroids to see if that perks him up. He hasn't been sick since I took him in so the anti-vomitting injection seems to be working. She said they will give him a small amount of food and take bloods before giving him the steroids and see how he goes from there. In himself he is apparently just sleeping in his kennel so I am glad he's not stressed. Then again, I think he's feeling too poorly to really know where he is. They want to keep him in overnight but I can call later to see how he is. As much as I want Bumpy home, I know he is in the best place as the vet said if he seems to be in any pain, they will give him opiats (sp) as he can't have Rymadil or Metacam with the steroids. Thank you once again for all the good thoughts for my poorly boy
