GSDFan Posted February 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 9, 2008 Lasso's legs finally gave way and his spirit was no longer strong enough to make them work. In some ways it was quite nice at the end. Lasso's favourite place in the whole world was the car and the Vet came out to the Land Rover and put him to sleep there. He went peacefully, with his Mum by his side and the breeze on his face. I love every dog of mine equally, usually because of their faults, but Lasso really was my perfect dog. Showdog, Obedience dog, Schutzhund dog, Working Trial dog and a fabulous all round companion. Goodnight, sleep tight. I will see you again in the place no shadows fall.
