Helly
im glad i did because such a pitifull sight has done what your post inteded. put me off visiting ireland and i will email the tourist board in Kerry and tell them why. perhaps if more and more people did the same they might even try and educate the kind of people who do such acts to think again and try a more humane way to kill their dogs. Lizzie
Heartbreaking Makes you wonder if the civilized among us are in a minority. I'm sorry to say it doesn't just happen in Ireland, it's everywhere.

Abigailj
Heartbreaking I'm sorry to say it doesn't just happen in Ireland, it's everywhere. Yes. That is why it wouldn't stop me from visiting Ireland. (I was there at the weekend by the way). We do crappy things in our country too and the same can be said for every country I'm sure. So is there really such a thing as an ethical holiday?
ranirottie
I have been to Kerry and it is a wonderful place and not everyone is like that. That poor dog,it must have suffered terribly before it died. It wont put me off going to Ireland but it makes me hate people that can do that sort of thing no matter where they live! x
