elainew
We would actually adopt our current Oldies foster Cocoa - we've been very firm with ourselves and he's off to his new home Friday - because I think he will enjoy being an only dog (not that he's been any problem with our 2) - and if his new home were not to work out (tho I'm sure it will), he would come back here! Clint
I have just adopted my favourite oldie Meet Ellie, aka Stella Congratulations, I am so pleased she is staying with you for good (I must admit she has been one of my favourite since the first time I saw her pic on the poundie list). She is one lucky girl. Welcome home Ellie

Sams Mum
I would love to adopt ANY older female Staffie who wanted to come and live with us BUT our current Boy, Samuel L Jackson McSimpkins, 1st Earl of Pasty (AKA Sam) is a miserable so and so as far as other dogs are concerned. He was OK ish with some but seems to be getting more inhospitable each day! We are off to St Ives on friday and there is a lovely little brindle staffie girl puppy we meet every time we go down, she always wants to sat 'hello' to him and he is really horrible to her - growling and barking at her. I have told him he wont have any doggie friends and his Christmas card list will be empty BUT he doesnt care. How do you socialise an older unsociable (but totally gorgeous, huggable, kissable) Staffie boy? He just doesnt realise what he is missing out on - so many lovely dogs need homes & we cant offer one because Sam has decided only one dog lives here... lulu's mum
I'd love to adopt Zac at Freshfields. He looks just the sort of lovely lad to fit in with our current team of 3 oldies plus one youngster. But I've been told in no uncertain terms by the OH that we can NOT take in any more. (He said that before our last one somehow squeezed in in March, but I think he really means it this time!) But I'll be keeping an eye on Zac, just in case the OH has a change of heart before he's snapped up .
lulu's mum
Just realised I should have said hi in the previous post as I'm a newbie. I've been visiting The Oldies website for some time now, and we found one of our lovely doglets there (Bess from Freshfields, adopted last October). But this is my first (well now my second) post here.

JoT
Hi Lulu's mum - lovely to see you here. It would be great to see some photos of Bess in her new home, and if you'd like us to create a Rehoming Story for her on the OC website we could do that too - we'd just need a bit of an update about how she's settled into her new home etc.

I've put a pic of Bess and our other dogs on the Gallery thread here, but I'd like to do an update on her for the OC website. She's had a few ups and downs healthwise, but she's definitely on the way up now. Should I just send you the info?
