ReikiAnge
If anyone hears of a show that the OC could possibly have a stall at, volunteers depending, this year, could you please post the details on this thread We have attended a number of rescue and non-rescue shows in the past and they're a great opportunity for raising funds and awareness for the oldies in our care, and also those in the care of other UK rescues The OC does get invited to have a stall at various events held by other rescues, which is great. We would also like to hear about dog shows where rescues have the chance for stalls and also regional shows, that aren't necessarily dog specific (the country/general sort of shows, if you know what I mean ). We may also be looking for volunteers to help man the stalls in certain areas once bookings are confirmed, so if this is something you would like to get involved with, watch this space Thanks

reds
The Dog Training Club I'm a member of will hopefully be holding a companion show this Summer. Will know more after our Committee meeting this Friday. There's also our annual Open Obedience Show. If you give me a phone number and name for someone from the Oldies then I can raise it at the meeting on Friday as stalls are always on the agenda. The Open show is in Wolverhampton and the companion show if it goes ahead will be in that area too (West Mids.).
Fee
Cricklade Show (near Swindon) is normally on the August Bank Holiday Monday. Details for this year haven't been published yet, but I'm hoping to get a charity stand. I'm OK to organise the stall, but if there is anyone free to help for a couple of hours through the day that would be brilliant. This is a big horse show/dog show, we had an OC stand there 2 years ago and did very well and raised lots of interest.

solly1
The Blue Cross in Bromsgrove have a show every year and there were other local rescues with stalls there last year. Not sure when it is this year or who to contact but likely to be details on their website. I've got a few boxes of second hand books I have collected if anyone wants them!!
