  3. poor boy,no privacy anywhere! x
  4. I think that many people would have a job holding 6 dogs if some were large ones and they really wanted to pull. Couldn't they just seperate one part as a no go area for dogs and another part for dogs and people who don't dislike dogs.x
  5. Jazz has just put on our forum that her lovely Shadow has gone on her last journey. Jazz is devastated and asks that nobody rings her. for Jazz. Sleep peacefully beautiful girl Shadow x.
  6. I will help any rescue that asks but I put my money in for the Oldies Club and Dogstar. I don't support any big charities as I can't afford to now that I am on disability benefits.x
  7. you look stunning, what a fantastic wedding. I hope you have a long and happy life together x
  8. We had a Dyson upright for donkeys years and it never let us down. It was brilliant on carpets, dogs hairs vanished like magic, but it was too strong for rugs and lifted them clean off the floor!! It wasn't as good for laminate either so we gave it to a friend and bought a smaller "pull along" Dyson which works brilliantly on the laminate and tiled floors. So another Dyson fan here. x PS Jazz, you know I go to Dunstable every tuesday, you only have to ask if you want something picked up x
  9. I don't do as much as I would like but I do donate, have home checked and fostered but it is a pleasure to help in any way that I can.x
  10. I am not disagreeing with any of the points made about the hunters etc just saying that I think the animosity should be aimed at the people not the horses. I have seen sabs pushing and pulling horses until they fell over to unseat the rider, waving flags in front of the horses to make them rear up. Yes it will again unseat the rider but it can break the horses back.I don't think misstreating horses is necessary in any circumstances, they are animals too,and just because the hunters misstreat them does not mean others should or what are we fighting for animals rights for?The sabs on the film are pushing and shoving the horses which I do not agree with and no animal lover should agree with. The other sabs I went with did not worry the horses at all and concentrated on distracting the hounds. I know which ones I prefer!! x
  11. I am not going to comment on the fox hunting because its all been said but one thing I would like to ask is...if all these animal lovers are fighting so hard for animals (and good for them) why do they push, shout at and frighten the horses? they are animals too and probably get extremely frightened by all the horns, screaming and the manhandling that they get. It thoroughly disgusts me to see horses treated this way. x
  12. well done,£25 still goes a long way x
  13. you really do have some beautiful dogs (especially the GSD's) x
  14. belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY from me and the girls x
  15. we have mastered the "sit and stay" so that I can pick her up if I need to and the secret weapon....................................................................................small chunks of Baby Bell cheese she will do anything for that!! x

  18. no advice as there has been some great stuff said on here but as a fellow depression sufferer I would like to send you a Keep talking to people, especially your family and friends and don't bottle it up ,or it just gets worse. Good luck x
  19. Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY from us,hope you had a good day x
  20. typical smalldog/big attitude. Minki loves to sit and have a cuddle but hates being picked up. The lady who had her parents was pretty old and arthritic so used to grab the pups up by their scruffs so she runs if she thinks I am going to pick her up.x

    that is shocking !! x
  22. Well done Lynn. The farm we have our caravan parked at is at Beer and its a lovely place but quite small. We have OC stickers on our car and caravan and often see people looking at them but most people assume that its a club for humans .Once I explain that its for oldie dogs they do seem very interested.x
