  1. Can't offer anymore that what has been said but our local branch of the RSPCA give out an "adoption agreement" for every animal rehomed including rabbits. One of the conditions is that if the animal needs to be rehomed it has to be back through the RSPCA otherwise they are in breach etc. Same with the Dogs Trust. Now granted each RPSCA branch is individual and rules & regs changed whichever branch is involved but I thought that might have been a given throughout them? Obviousl not and yet another poor dog will suffer Hope the DWA can help.

    Bert Bunny

Hop free gorgeous bunnies to you Karen
  5. Brill photos. She certainly looks like she was enjoying it
  6. Flora is gorgeous. We can't have anything like that with the furry black'n'tan piranhas, would be in bits in a very short space of time
  7. Positive thoughts for Daisy here too. I know it can take a good few days for the GA to come out of their systems, each dog is different, but our boxer was poorly for about 4 days after he was neutered but the other dogs and rabbits were fine the following day
  8. So glad she was found. Hope the other are safe. You are a star for taking her, she's gorgeous
  9. I'm so sorry it wasn't good news No words can help you but know that you are in our thoughts and cherish every second you have with her. It's not the same situation but I had to make the decision with my old bunny on 23 August and even now it still hurts but I know it was the right thing, she let me know and Kass will let you know when the time is right for her to start her journey to the bridge

    Mill Rescue

On DP in "So what happened, MR" thread you wrote on 2nd August 2007 (page 4) Does this not confirm that Maggi/MR were not allowed to post? Sorry, that's how I read it. I would just like to say that The Refuge is not a "governing body" to determine what is/isn't a "reputable" rescue, nor are we here to support any particular rescue. What has happened is that MR were members here, allegations were made on DP and The Refuge was brought into it by allowing them to post here. Because of the seriousness of the allegations, two members went to see for themselves the conditions of MR, and based on their findings MR have been allowed to post here. We are NOT a fan club for any particular rescue, we are a forum, pure and simple.

    Anya Bun

Thank you all. This is the beautiful Anya I can't believe she's gone, but she's home now. I sobbed like a baby when they gave me a keyring with some of her fur in it. She was much more than a bunny, I think she thought of herself as a rottweiler as she would herd Katie wherever she wanted her to go and was such a fighter. Binky free my baby.

    My 2 Rescues

They are stunning. Welcome to the wonderful world of rotties .... I warn you, they are addictive (we have 5!) Fank you Katie's head now won't fit through the door Since coming back from Crufts we are havin the "I'm afraid this is not satisfactory and I will have to get my people to talk to your people" look quite often
  17. Poor Ollie Hope his swim goes ok. With our old guy Dino, he came to us overweight with knackered hips, just got him to a good weight and he nearly snapped his cruciate. Once that healed we were advised to try Hydrotherapy and he HATED it at first. He had to be muzzled and wore a boyouncy aid, but as you can see from my avatar, he's alot happier now and loves it! It has done wonders for him and he's gone from a dog on over £40 medication & supplements per month to the occiasional drop of metacam when the weather it damp We tried Green Lipped Mussel for him in combination with the Gloucosamine but he's now only on Fish & Rice dried food and he's doing great
  18. I'm not a vet, but would strongly recommend full blood work done and see what that shows. It sounds like there is more going on with this poor dog. Like A.L.L.I.E has said, it could be a head injury
  19. Gorgeous pix, and even more gorgeous dogglets in person
