Hello What a handsome boy Mason is
-
Despite never being brought up with pets I always loved animals and have watched just about every pet rescue programme ever on the telly. For that reason, it never occurred to me to get anything other than a rescue dog. After walking round my local - Wood Green Animal Shelter in Cambridgeshire I noticed a lot of very sad looking, very quiet greyhounds. I was hooked and immediately adopted my beautiful Barley who had been picked up as a stray and had been there for 9 months without a hint of interest. The staff were ecstatic to see him rehomed despite being a huge favourite and I have to say that I love him so much it makes me cry. 5 months later Ellie joined us and the same applies I love and care about all breeds but I will always have rescued greyhounds.

Bless her little heart Hope she perks up soon

I can't believe this utter moronic ar****le can be allowed to get away with these lies and drivel. It does matter what he says because a lot of his listeners are obviously stupid enough to believe his word is gospel. Since when were Staffies bred for fighting and how dare he slag off greyhounds too. He should be put down on the spot - him and his cronies are surely going to be responsible for even further abandonment and destruction. I just don't understand how this is legal

This is my current favourite

I don't see how anyone can condemn you for this - it's obvious you've put your heart and soul into trying to help Bailey. Nothing but good thoughts for you and Bailey for the future -
What a beautiful set of teeth
-
God, what a horrifying experience for all of you I'm amazed everyone got out alive I hope the powers that be do something about this immediately otherwise they may have a death of their hands
-
That's so lovely but I can really understand why you can't cope with it yet Hope it has pride of place on your wall one day soon
-
No, my two have their moments but I wouldn't say they are manic, but then they are greyhounds

Yes, definitely! My trips to the vets are embarassingly frequent and I'm just about to go again as Barley has a huge tear between his toes and there are bloody footprints all round the house. I have no idea how he's done it as he was ok an hour ago and hasn't left the house in that time
-
What a beautiful boy - I want to hug him
-
More than a bit comfy Look at that face

Wow, that looks absolutely fantastic. That garden and the views are just gorgeous We stayed about 10 miles away from here last year and while the cottage was nice it wasn't a patch on this one. Glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the link - will definitely get the OH to take a look -
Well so far I've found a half sister for Ellie (Mollydog) and a half sister and half brother for Barley on various forums. I've looked at Barley's litter mates and see that one is apparently alive and well somewhere but I've got no idea how to take it further. It would be lovely to meet her

Oh Mylo, you're beautiful
