I have a new hobby  I've not got it yet, I've requested it for Christmas, but I am about to get into the Dolls House collection hobby  I've researched all my interior bits already and have found a fab website that does made to measure kitchens, however they cost almost as much as the real life kitchens I sell

 I have no heating or hot water. I am stressed out about having to walk the dogs in the dark every day :( I know lots of people have to do it but it is so long since I last had to and I miss gazing out to sea every day :(

sorry you have no hot water / heating and hope you can get it sorted soon , when my boiler packed in grandma Squirrel lent me hot water bottles which really helped

re walking the dogs at night , I have lots of funky flashing lights and head torches ( for me and the dogs ) to try and make it a bit more fun and I get to wear a hat and I love hats ( I do wear other clothes as well )

Just killed my smoothie maker by forgetting to put the rubber bit in so soup leaked out into the motor. RIP smoothy maker! rolleyes.gif

smooth smoothly at the bridge little maker

wow , how big are the Dolls Houses ?

I have spent another few days ringing around looking for work with no joy , slightly depressing when the director of the company that most likely to hire me told me that they expect to have nothing suitable for at least 18 months mecry.gifso I have decided to do something productive for 2011 and signed up with open university with a view to getting a degree ( slowly )

still think I am going to have take up robbing sub post offices :biglaugh:

Sorry to hear you did not get a good nights kip flowers.gif

Morning :tired:

Sam - I do hope someone can give you some work soon. What sort of degree are you thinking of doing? :flowers:

I hope so too but realistically I think its very unlikely at the moment, its been 2 years now ( excluding the 6 days temping I did last year ) since I had a job ! I think my major problem is that I have such a specialist skill set that I am about as much use as a chocolate tea pot to most employers and there is no one hiring that needs what I can do mellow.gif

Re Degree I am starting with an Arts and Humanities course and I am going to take it from there , I already have my eye on a Ethics course which looks amazing and the English Language and Literature which would a real challenge

:blush02: Hello again Sam the Squirrel, the Sam who is not Sam the area N supervisor I tried to call this morning about a meeting :blush02:

I am a first class numpty and phoned the wrong Sam on my mobile while walking Georgia to school :withstupid:

Now that my union rep is ill and cannot attend our meeting this morning I shall use the time to accurately name everyone in my contacts list on my Blackberry

So sorry Sam :liebe94:

Sam, that sounds exciting, good luck with it :flowers:

My RMF is that I went to a new business networking group today, and when we had to go round the table letting people say a bit about themselves and what support they would like from the group, everyone else said businessy stuff about sharing/making new contacts/knowledge transfer and all that malarky, and I just said I'd like them all to consider getting a rescued greyhound or oldie

Well done Jules laugh.gif

RMF : I took a chance and went to Asda tonight, cos I thought with the weather being so awful today (wet and windy and and miserable) that most people would be sensible and stay indoors. Fortunately I was right, it was relatively quiet (after being horrendously busy the last twice I went) and I went round fairly quickly and straight through the till without having to queue. One more job out of the way.
