lil_angel
Im making a start on the Oldies Club Christmas newsletter. This year we would like to run a feature called 'Why I Love My Oldie'. What we would like from you is a reason why you love your oldie and a photo to go along with it. If you would be interested in participating please send these to [email protected] As always if people would like to be added to our mailing list can they send me an email to the same address to let me know Edited October 25, 2009 by lil_angel
olivea
What if your oldie is no longer with you? I think some people are put off because they won't have oldies very long but despite only having Tess for 5 years, instead of her whole life, I would not have swapped her for a younger dog I could have had more time with. What it be ok to write an article along those lines??
lil_angel
Its fine to write about a dog that may not be longer with you. A few lines is what I would like as Im hopnig to get quite a good response to this. Forgot to mention dog does not have to be an Oldies Club dog just a senior dog in general. Mrs Mop
How brief do you want it, not sure I can do brief with Gracie, possibly could with Joe, Merlin and Ellie. I never think of them as being oldies.

Red Rotties
This quote says it all....... Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well." - Bonnie Wilcox 'Old Dogs, Old Friends'

smirnoff
Just seen that it doesn't have to be an Oldies club oldie so our wonderful Rinty qualifies. I'll try to write up a few lines about him in an e-mail. Diane
