Ok, a shortened version of Mrs B's rowing thread which can be found here... Mrs B rows the channel thread

 

In a nutshell.... mrs will be row like the clappers and who ever guesses the correct time or nearest time, will win a cake, baked by Mrs B, after an initial chat to guage the winners preferences in cakes.

Entry costs are £2.00 for 1 guess; £5.00 for 3 guesses, £10.00 for 7 guesses.

 

Nearest guess wins a box of my home made cakes, freshly baked and posted to you. The winner will be consulted on any dislikes they have, so don’t worry if the thought of chocolate turns you green.

 

 

You choose whether you wish to support Wiccaweys, Dogstar Foundation or both. Payment referencing Mrs Bs Rowing Compeition can be made through their PayPal accounts as follows:

I refuse to comment on training or lack of.

 

However, you might like to note that both 1:30.00 and 1:20.00 would be amazing new World Records in "my" category.

 

So I'm wondering whether you might like to revise your guess to something which may or may not be more realistic - based on the times above.

 

Alternatively, I'll happily come watch you show me how it should be done in 1:20.0

For the sake of fairness I believe all "bets" should be placed no later than 1.00 pm.

 

I know exactly who's time I think is currently nearest what I will be doing ............ and I'm not saying.

 

I would very much like some technologically minded person who could help me round about 2.30 pm tomorrow if they could post below - if someone volunteers I will e-mail a copy of my susstificate to show the winning time.

 

My "report" may take a while longer - end of year looms at work and appears to have turned everyone into serious loons!
