It turned out to be a glorious day however people were not feeling like spending their money but we handed out plenty of fliers and chatted with lots of different people. Louise with a very vocal Boots and Snoopy also helped out and spread the word about the OC. The stall Fleur stocktaking We were asked to judge best veteran - sooo difficult, billions of gorgeous dogs ranging in age from 7 to 19 and all shapes and sizes. This was our eventual winner, not chosen just for looks, she also had a wonderful, friendly personality, was in the ring with a girl who wasn't her owner and behaved really well for her, and was so chilled and waggy (our choice might have surprised some of the 'serious competitors' ) We managed to raise £37.50 in money but also raised the awareness of the OC, A few people who took fliers said they would be put on noticeboards at dog clubs etc. Finally a couple of pics just for Michelle Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In the photos they've found a pair of jrt poopies and are telling them about the OC. It was a very hot day. We could have raised a lot more money if we'd been selling icecream.
