Yantan
Ouch Marian, hope the foot doesn't prove too troublesome. I am off to bed as lying err I mean laying flat helps me uncomfortableness. Wendy Google the well known Cumbrian Mr Will Ritson Night all

Maria
The Bogart exists. Cumbrians get very hurt when tourists come and doubt it We've never seen a Bogart in over 18 years of visiting the Lakes - I think you are jessing Marion Also, did you arrange the special hail and torrential rain just for us last week Boysie has come back fitter than a butchers dog and now thinks 3 hours of walking per day is normal - someone please tell him he's meant to be an older dog (about 11ish) to give us a rest . Wendy, sorry to hear your news but also pleased you are OK about it if you see what I mean Shame we weren't up at the same time as I had a hankering for the Buttermere walk but was outvoted. Hope you still have a lovely time.
Wendbert
Thanks Maria I'm really looking forward to it - a cozy cottage with log fire, walks with the boys and popping in to see Marion and Ruby. And of course looking for the elusive Bogart has been added to my list of things to do
Maria
I'm hankering to go back already Hope the weather is much better for you than it was for us- please say hello in person to Marion for us as she and Georgie were poorly when we were there. You're lucky to be going now rather than when the Keswick religious convention is on - I'll let Marion tell you what sales are up when that's on

fee4
i washed Moos old coats tonight-and promptly burst into tears. i know its silly-the Moos fur has never been removed from the bloody things all the years she had them-despite numerous washing/drying...but it seemed terribly final. need to sort out a house collar etc for the new girl.....and i must stop being a silly old sentimentalist-what would the Moo say to all this weeping & sorrow.? something along the lines of wipe the tears-and gimme a chewy stick! fee
owl
I have a feeling that fate may take a hand and bring you a new small furry friend when you are least expecting it. Fate tends to do that kind of thing. That's normally how I get my furry friends large and small.
