dirtychicken
Long tail, I'd say rat. Where did you find it???? In Bran's mouth The cats had removed half the head (on the opposite side to the pic) and then Bran kindly brought it in to show me. The body wasn't very big which is why I initially thought that it was a mouse, but then I clocked the long thick tail and sent Sophie in to pick it up The body was probably about 3-4" so was bigger than most of the dead mice I have to turf out thinking about it
phoebejo
I'd say baby rat. The tail looks too long for a mouse.

Sherlock Bones
The tail is definitely rat. I read a horror story about a lady dying earlier this year of weil's disease as a result of trying to safe a trapped rat. You didn't want to know that, did you Seriously though, if they have had ratties, I think i'd be tempted to trigene down the patio and your hands
dirtychicken
Disinfectant will shortly be added to the patio I'm not very surprised that they've found one tbh as our house is only divided from the park by a small, grassy lane The park is often frequented by youngsters with all sorts of food stuffs who often choose not to use the bins provided
yena
My Dad's got rats in his garden. We watched one the other day, walk along the washing line, to where there was a hanging basket full of bread for the birds. Get a piece of bread drop it on the floor, drop on to the floor itself, and than carry the bread away. It did the same action several times
