bonniebird
Three weeks ago tonight, I got a call from my mum. She said that she had some bad news I knew it wasn't my Dad because I'd talked to her earlier, Thank God. She said that my brothers wife, who is 39 years old, had been diagnosed with breast cancer :mecry: Her name is Kathy, and tomorrow she is going to hospital to have a mastectomy, lymph glands removed and then a course of chemotherapy. The doctors said they could perform a lumpectomy, but as Kathy's mum died 3 years ago from breast cancer, she has opted for the mastectomy. My family have been beside themselves my poor brother has been in a dreadful state. We have started to hear and find out lots of positive things from people who know people who have had it and recovered Thank goodness. We are feeling more optimistic now, but boy oh boy, we have done some crying over the last few weeks. When I got this news, it was like the end of the world Kathy is a lovely, lovely woman. They have 3 kids and she has been through it nursing her mum and more recently her Dad, who is ill. So please muster all the good and healing thoughts that you can for Kathy. She has to call the hospital tonight to see what time they want her in in the morning. Love you Kathy Karen and my family

ReikiAnge
Sending Reiki for Kathy and I am more than happy to put her on the Reiki lists if she would like me to, just PM me with the info if it's ok to crosspost. I gave Reiki to the mother of a friend a few times, including the night before she was due to go into hospital for an op because she had breast cancer. Very lovely lady who is still doing well I believe, although she moved away so we have lost touch, but this has reminded me to get back in touch and see how she is doing.
