Kathyw
Mindy I'm glad she is stable.Make sure they check your Mum doesn't have a urine infection as that can make confusion a lot worse. This used to happen with my Nan and I remember it happening frequently on the wards too. Â I would echo this Mimdy as my Mum got a urine infection and it made the confusion far worse. I think KatsInc gave me the advice at the time and I had Mum checked. Houndwoman
Good thoughts and love being sent Mindy for you all  Urine infections definately enhance the confusion in dementia patients.  We have experienced this with my late mum and Mike's late father.  Hope all is well soon

Tobleronie
Thanks again for your kind thoughts Mum is able to sit up, but it definitely was a stroke and it has affected her left side She is due to have more extensive tests on Monday since she is also experiencing pains elsewhere in her body that they are worried about. My eldest sister is up there with them, and also Mum recognised Dad but she didn't recognise my sister Time will tell but she is off the danger list which is good.
