Houndwoman Posted November 12, 2007 Report Share Posted November 12, 2007 Please send healing thoughts for our dear old chap as he is poorly again He became unwell overnight last Thursday and we thought he may have had a stroke or similar. Vet has ruled that out and also says that his heart is no worse then when he last checked it, his temperature is normal and so are his blood results so it is a mystery. The vet doesn't think there is a back problem either. He cannot stand for long and keeps toppling over and can only walk a few steps before he falls down He is still eating, drinking, weeing and pooing normally so we are baffled. Obviously he is quite compromised at the moment but he is quite settled most of the time and is resting in his bed though he isn't able to do much more. We are not ready to call it a day yet while he is trying so hard If his appetite fails and his normal functions start going wrong then that may be a different matter but in the meantime we are hoping and praying for a miracle. Could you all please do the same? All being well our animal chiropractor is coming out on Wednesday to check him over and see if there is anything she can do to help the old lad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
