Edeline
Hi there. Since I've been lurking on this board quite a lot recently, I thought I'd better do the polite thing and introduce myself! My name's Edeline (real name Stacey) and I've become pretty much obsessed with finding a dog that my dander-allergic partner can cope with. My dogs are my life, and always have been - trust me to fall for the one man who can't go within four feet of one! I live in Darlington with by fella Martin and my rescue hedgehog Wilfred (Wilfie to the ladies ). We're renovating our first house at the moment, and having lots of fun imagining a happy little dog running through it. I know that there's a little fur baby waiting out there for us! Anyway, just wanted to say what an amazing group of people you all really are. The work that you do for these poor dogs is incredible, and something to be really proud of. Hope to see you all around! Sherlock Bones
Hi Stacey As an alternative can i suggest your Martin trundles down to Lloyds pharmacy and buys one of their battery powered anti allergy devices? I've seen the results on a severely allergic asthmatic and my god it's amazing... then you won't need a dander free pooch! Welcome to the refuge! JACKYSIAN
Hello and welcome. Wilfred!!! I'm lucky enough to be owned by a hypo-allergenic mutt! He's a Standard Poodle x JRT and it's brill (rescue of course!!! )...if only I didn't have the other 3 hair balls and the 2 cats I'd have a lovely hair free home!!!! (Plus I'm sure you know but don't believe the cr*p that is said about Poodle x's....they are not guaranteed moult free!!!!) Hope you find a dog that will suit your home....either that of get rid of the OH and you can have the dog you want!!! Jacky
