Just as you are not responsible for all the bad in the world or all the poisonous tw*ts that add to it. Nancy knew love while with you and love while with Reds family. My guess would be that nancy would choose to show loyalty to all of you in exactly the same way as you have to her. The only difference is that now she will be wondering why you are sad. Animals dont fear death and we all have to go sometime. She just went to sleep and you cannot see into the future and know what other potential deaths she could have faced but Im sure they could have been far worse than going to sleep and not waking up due to other gasses in your body. I couldn't agree more. Nancy knew love thanks to you and Paul - and all your fosterers. You haven't failed her at all - she has known love and fun since she met you.
