We are told to prepare ourselves for the possibility of some sort of cancer, possibly leukaemia. Ultrasound on Tuesday to check condition of internal organs and more blood to be sent to a specialist to idenitfy the cause of abnormal cells. sproggie14 Posted August 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 3, 2007 Thanks everyone After a couple of hours (weeks?) of feeling sorry for myself I've pulled myself together. I figure we have two ways of approaching this. We can either get depressed and end up miserable which will inevitably effect the dogs and other animals, or we can be positive. Whatever she has, however long she has with us, the important thing is that we do everything we can to make sure she has a comfortable, happy, full life. Pokes doesn't need much encouragement to live life to the full and I don't want us to drag her down right now - I'd bet my life she won't let anything stop her having fun so who are we to stand in her way. Probably suggested already elsewhere, but may also be worth talking to a Homeopathic /Holistic Vet once you know the full picture - cover all bases. Reiki continuing.
