  1. I'm good thanks Merle. How's you and the Merledogs?
  2. Thats the first time i've 'said' it. i've managed to only tell one or two people who need to know - work etc and even then i've skirted around it until they've understood. i'm going to go calm myself down again as i'm very up and down at the mo (mostly down) but thanks so much for being here. I will be back soon xx
  3. thanks, i think its only really hit me the last few days. When i saw him today he looked really poorly and was telling me how he's organised a bed at a hospice and stuff. I want him to come here but he's a stubborn bugger and is hanging on to his independence and so far is staying at home. its the hardest thing i've ever had to deal with
  4. Hello San, Marion & Wenders I'm sure i've missed loads and heavn't been around for ages, although its gone in the blink of an eye. I left my last job in July last year and started my new job in August they cheekily expected me to do some work and i wasn't able to tit about of the web all day Unfortunately in september my lovely dad was diagnosed with cancer and its been a whirr since then, i've thought of you all at different times but not felt strong enough to log on for more than a few minutes as to not mention it would've felt wrong/odd but i couldn't face posting it either. It looks like now we have only a few days left with him possibly a few weeks at best and to be honest i'm a bit lost as to what to do when i'm not with him. God that was self indulgent, sorry guys just wanted to sort of explain where i've been and why i've (must have) missed important events in my fugees friends lives. Its good to be back though ETA Wenders the 8 cups of coffee will take care of the next 2 hours as you'll be running to the loo and back!
  5. Hello from my sofa This is all a bit fancy pants isn't it?
  6. How awful. I do hope whoever is responsible gets what they deserve. Run free angel
  7. Thanks guys Having a lovely day so far, although i think Dylan may have just eaten a wasp!
  8. Dylan has had 2 removed from the top of his muzzle. Both came up very quickly and bled often the first one was removed then 6 months or so later he had another grow about 2 inches from where the first had been and that was removed too. Fingers crossed there have been no more, removing the second was a challenge as there's lvery little loose skin there.
  9. Hello everyone Have not logged on for quite some time so will do my best to catch up. Hope all are well. Melpy, hope you are ok, will be thinking of you Just a shelf - i have an entire cupboard Nothing major to report here. Khyra's epilepsy seems under control hopefully and Dylan is fine. Not so new anymore man continues to be more wonderful by the day and we are very happily living together.
  10. Sawyer the hero I loved it, think i'll watch it again this weekend as i'm sure there's lots i missed. I loved Hurley playing chess with Mr Eko
  11. Can't believe i had to go back to page 7 to find this thread. What did everyone think of the finale? I thought it was utterly fantastic
  12. Happy birthday Marion, have a lovely day
  13. OB Ria My terrible 2 - one is eating a dalmation
  14. Oh yes she does Can i ask what you are basing this ridiculous generalisation on exactly? Its certainly not from any 'knowledge' of the breed. Yes they were originally hunting and guarding dogs but if yoy are under the illusion a dog could hunt a lion through agression then you're wrong. Think cat taunting mouse, they cornered them (intwos and threes) and kept them at bay until the hunter arrived. Agression would of got them killed pretty instantly. Yes they are big and boistrous and noisy when playing but that doesn't make them agressive. Since when has keeping a watchful eye over its family equate to resource guarding? Do you know anything about dogs? Never mind genetics?
