  1. I agree! Didn't watch it last night as it was my wedding anniversary and we went out for a yummy meal Don't think I missed much and probably won't watch much of it, just bits now and again. You watch, I'll end up being addicted and top poster on this thread
  2. Its really nice to get praise, especially where its due. Well done!!
  3. Hope you're enjoying life at the Bridge, Ice. I bet you're still keeping an eye on your mummy though
  4. I think the idea is that the rescues could sell the collars to raise funds. The £40 would cover the cost of the postage and materials, then the collars would be worth a lot more to sell than £4.00 each. Thereby allowing the rescue to raise more money. Sorry if thats wrong, but thats how I read it. I think its a lovely idea
  5. Morning all. May have a chance of keeping up on Junes RMF if I start early enough. Having a lazy morning here this morning. Had a nice lie in, just had a cooked breckie and now about to take doglets over the fields for a nice long walk. Got work to do this afternoon, so thought I deserved a treat this morning!
  6. Poor little mite. Thank goodness shes now safe and sound with you She looks like a sweet or a poppy to me
  7. Theres only one thing wrong with that card - 5.30am. greyhounds don't rise before 9.00am, its a well known fact!! Happy birthday gorjuss Spike. Enjoy your restful day
  8. They're even more gorjuss in the flesh. Morty loves Jess too (and I think Jess has a secret crush on Morty, but don't tell Sol!)
  9. What a credit to you and Les! I have to say Bren, she soooo looks like you!
  10. Only just caught up with this. Glad hes back home with you where he belongs. I know he'll get lots of loving, attention and cuddles. I also know that you won't let him suffer and will do your very best by him. That makes you and your family very special people. for Digby and hope his meds etc help him.
  11. What a wonderful way to go. All happy and content and then to just drift into an everlasting sleep without pain Sorry for those he left behind, but know you're a much better person for having known him. Run young and free at the Bridge Alfie
  12. Sorry again to hear more sad news for you Sleep well Ramoth
  13. So very sorry Run free at the Bridge Silver
  14. Sorry to be off topic too! Mortimer sounds just like Dennis Mel. He pees for hours - everyone laughs at us because they think I only let him out once a day Carrie sounds beautiful Maybe you should think of having a greyhound Ann, so Indy can get more used to them!
  15. Thinking positive thoughts for Monday and hope it starts to reduce in size. Gentle hugs for Foo dog
  16. Deepest sympathy to you and your family for your loss
  17. So sorry to hear your sad news. Your gorgeous boy didn't want for anything when he was with you and you gave him love, friendship, peace and dignity. He knows how much he'll be missed and I'm sure hes looking out for you all, while chasing seaguls on the beach Run young and free again at the Bridge Bear
  18. I used plaque off on my lot and was really disappointed with the results too. I don't think it helped at all
  19. How worrying for you. You must be going out of your mind. I hope he had a restful night and has perked up today. for you all and thinking of you
  20. I saw Alison today and shes fine. Million and one things on the go and loving every minute! We decided it was too expensive to do the county show, so we had a white lodge rescue walk over the fields and fun, tea/coffee, food etc in the paddock afterwards. The dogs loved it and I have now got 3 exhausted muppets all fast asleep I was supposed to go along to agility with Morty this afternoon, but hes too zonked and I haven't the heart to wake him! Hope everyone is OK as I haven't posted much recently and not had a chance to catch up on RMF
  21. aaawww, they are fab photos. Flora and Bear playing together are so sweet. You do realise that we need to see pictures of the beautiful Flora surfing on her pouffee!
  22. Gentle hugs for the gorgeous Bruno. I hope his results come back OK
  23. Simple answer for me. Yes, a rescue dog every time Like others have said, my chosen breeds are far too plentiful in rescue, unfortunately
