  3. Gossip can indeed cause all kinds of problems , however i feel that people who know you well should know that gossip is just that and if they dont and they believe what the gossips are saying then ask yourself are they really friends ? And do their opinions of you really matter at all in the bigger scheme of things ? True friends should know you well enough to know that things you are being accused of are simply not true and just a figument of some sad lonely vindictive persons over active imagination . The people i find more scarey are the people who take a little grain of truth from something they have either read or heard then add on blatent lies about people then lie even more to cover up the origional lies , then to make matters even worse they actually convince themselves that the lies they are telling are the truth and try to convince everyone else of that too . These are the kind of people you do not need in your life at all and the best thing to do is cut all ties with them , let them say what they like because at the end of the day its them that will fall flat on their face when people find out by their own experiences with them , the kind of people they really are. We are all human and all make mistakes at some point and yes i agree that if something is said in public is not true then a public apology is indeed warranted , but people who seem to take pleasure in gossiping behind peoples backs and hurting people just for the hell of it are hardly likely to stand up and be counted as sadly they dont have a back bone to start with. 11. Another tragedy , we had a similar incident up here a few weeks ago , when one of Mels friends dad stabbed 2 of his children then himself, While his older son was in the house and he heard nothing , it is such a shocking thing that it is so difficult to comprehend how people can act the way they do , but as a friend of mine said sometimes people think they are saving their children from the horrible world that we live in , as lets face it this world can be a horrible place I cannot imagine what these people go through in their minds to reach a conclusion that they cant bear their children to grown up in this world so would rather they died than grew up It is horrible if they feel that is their only course of action but the human mind is a very complex thing and it must be awful to go through something like this , i do not condone their behaviour at all and personally i cant understand if thats the way they think but its a dreadful state of affairs . There are some evil people in the world who seem to have no concience but if these people genuinely felt they were saving their children from this horrible world we live in , they are to be pitied not condemned and they also have to live with their actions for the rest of their lives , if it was their mental state that caused this tragedy if they get better it will be hell on earth for them having to live with with their actions Maybe i am wrong and maybe these people were evil who knows but theres always different ways of looking at these kinds of tragedies , i hope the baby survives, what a betrayal of trust for them if it was their parents who are supposed to love and protect them that killed them , what would have been going through their minds must have been horrendous for them :mecry: Rest easy babies in peace :GroupHug: Fiona xx
  12. :GroupHug: Be proud of who you are not because of her but despite her , her blood maybe runs through your veins sweetie but you are the person you are because of you not because of her influence on you , hold your head up high and be happy you made your choices in life and are a much nicer person for it , feel sorry for the compassion she is lacking in her life Fiona xx

  21. 1) How is it any different to using something like a zoom groom (rubber brush thingy)? It is designed to go right through the coat and remove lose dead hair from the coat , i know as my dogs have a double coat and their undercoat is very dense it works really well for them , i have never used a zoom groom so i really dont know the difference sorry 2) Would it be particularly effective on greyhounds? I Dont have greyhounds but i am sure if worked well for a boxer it would do the same job on a Greyhound 3) Can it/should it be used on cats? I dont see any reason why i could not be used on a cat as long as you were gentle with it , I think it would depend on the coat , i know it works very well on Storm but i have not yet tried it on Akira whos coat is so much finer and softer than Storms . You might be better checking out their website and asking about cats though as i am no expert and have never owned a cat so really i have'nt been much help have i ? Fiona xx
  22. Thanks Billy , dont worry she wont get the chance to hang herself i will be with her at all times while shes on the table or knowing madam she would try to jump off , and i will make sure theres somebody else around to give me a hand until she gets used to it Of course i will need somebody to help me get her onto the table in the first place , i just better mind and not let her see a brush in my hand or i will be too tired chasing her around the house to attemot to lift her . Fiona xx
