  1. For me birthdays are just another day, I do get cards and phone calls etc off friends and family but I never do anything special to celebrate it. I tend to get more excited about other peoples birthdays but after reading your post you have inspired me to do something nice for mine, which is in 9 days time. I like the sound of your birhdays Di xx
  2. Welcome back Hope you're feeling better soon. Di xx

  6. Fab pics, love the one of you all sat outside 'chillin' It looks like a great place to holiday with your dogs, no wonder you cant wait to go back, lucky you Di xx
  7. Tia will be 7 years old in July and has the same mum as Harry. When Harry and his brother were puppies the only people intrested in offering them homes were 'undesirable' to say the least, so their owner (my neighbours sister) brought the little tan puppy to me begging me to give him a home and I told her to bring the other one as well (Harry), I had both puppies vaccinated and WAW kindly took them in for rehoming. I love seeing pictures of Harry, my little girl, Cass, gets so excited when she sees him and when their previous owners daughter pops in she always asks is there any new pics of him, so he's got quite a fan club here Di xx
  8. Harry's half sister, Tia.
  9. I love his little freckled belly, he's so cute. Di x
  10. I just love her expressions Di x
  11. In Queens Park, St Helens a lot of the dog walkers use the bowling green, it has high fencing all the way round and the gate can be shut. It's not used for bowling any more. Also at the other end of the park is a small fenced off garden, with raised flower beds, it's a great place to play hide and seek with the dogs and polish up their recall Di x
  12. My dozy three don't bat an eyelid when the postman comes and my front door is in my living room , infact they don't even bark when anyone knocks at the door, they just lie on the sofa and look at me then at the door as if to say "well open it then", they don't even bother to get off the sofa to have a look at who's at the door! If the caller is a regular visitor they might whine a bit but if it's Nannie who brings biscuits they scream the house down the minute her car turns into the street! Di x
  13. I can't bring myself to watch the video, reading about it is bad enough, poor dog. I hope the girl's parents realise their child needs help, no way is that anywhere near normal behaviour, I would be worried sick if she was my child. Di x
  14. that's just so funny, he looks like he's saying "Well come on then, find them!" Di x
  15. Harry's such a cutie But then again I would say that cos I have his half sister, Tia Hopefully I'll get my son to help me post some pictures of Tia over the weekend (cos I'm a bit fick) Di x
  16. Roo I wish he couldn't open doors and the dog gate if the handle hasn't clicked down properly. I wish he didn't like pulling crackers at christmas cos he's just not happy until he's pulled them all, even if he has to knock the christmas tree over to get the last one! Sophie Opening the rabbit hutch to eat rabbit pooh, she can also open the dog crate when the rabbits are being kept inside over winter, so it has to be chained and padlocked like we have killer rabbits! Tia Nothing, she is a complete angel!
  17. to you both, sending loads of positive thoughts hoping its nothing serious. My three have all had the runs and quite a few of my mates dogs aswell, there's defo something going round. Di x
  18. Poor cats I have 4 young cats who ask to go out and 5 minutes later they are asking to come back in as they're finding it too cold. My 15 year old cat asks to go out but promptly changes his mind once the door has been opened for him and he feels how cold it is, he also comes to bed with me every night and snuggles under the duvet to keep warm. The poor cats must be freezing, at their age they should be snuggled up in a nice warm bed with a hot water bottle.

    Wet Nights

I used the pampers cot sheets when Holly was incontinent and they were fantastic although they are a bit pricey but she was used to sleeping on my bed and was very distressed when I tried to make her sleep in her own bed over night. I used to sticky tape them in place.
