  1. Are there any bulldog peeps here? or anyone who knows what the difference is between an old tyme bulldog and an english bulldog? We have a bulldog in (came in as a pair to be rehomed with a boxer) and to me he just looks like a typical english bulldog, ive always thought the old tyme were bigger and less 'snorty/squished' or are there different sizes? His old owner was positive he is an old tyme though (if they are even a breed )
  2. Joey - anywere that involves a car ride he adores going in cars, he loves the beach aswell so probably formby beach and the pinewoods. Mitzi - a nice relaxing walk through the woods with LOADS of things to sniff, she doesnt do running, she prefares to keep her nose to the ground, i swear she is a bloodhound in a boxers body. Kizzy - shes a batty old mare, she will be happy anywere that she can skip about, she loves our local park though, shes a bit deaf so if we go out anywere else she would have to be on a lunge lead, the park is the only place she can be offlead running free.
  3. Wait till you see him michelle he is HUGE! deffinately the biggest boxer ive ever seen, i thought Joey was big, but when Leo came here he made joey look tiny!
  4. Shes doing great, she had a little flair up in her eye a while ago but we caught it in time and it healed within a few days
  5. first time we have had a dry walk for weeks (well with no rain) so decided to take the camera along today. The park is flooded but the dogs love it Joey cant resist getting in every single photo
  6. I was in bed the other day, joey sleeps on the end of it. I usually wake up before him but that morning he woke up first i was still half asleep, he decided to jump up and stretch smacking me full force in the nose, i thought someone had dropped a brick on my face, there was blood everywere, all over the bed and the floor this was my first proper nose bleed and it didnt stop for an hour, i had to go into work with tissue stuffed up my nose and explain id been beaten by joey. Hes a thug and it still hurts now when i touch the side.

    King Update

Heard from Heather before, she said king is a bit better today, far from himself, but better than yesterday. Heather has just got out of hospital and is currently dosed up on painkillers after a dog ran into her leg and nearly broke it
  10. Twice a day they have a cup each of dry for breakfast (unsoaked) and for tea they have a larger meal of dry (soaked) with meat mixed in
  11. Joey is my soul dog, i dont have kids, but if i did i would imagine the way i feel towards him is the same i would feel if he was my human kid (if that makes sence), I love my 2 girls to bits, they are both different in so many ways and i couldnt be without any of them, but joey is my soul dog, hes been there through one of the hardest times in my life and i dont think i would of got through any of it without him, i couldnt bare to be without him now. For the past 5 years we have done everything together and still do, but we also have mitzi and kizzy now aswell who have both been here under 2 yrs. I can read every part of joeys face and know what every sound and expression means. He has this 'smell' aswell, i dont know what it is, its not a dog smell, theres just something there that the other 2 dont have (now i sound mad ) I think its hard to describe exactly what it is, its just the way you feel towards them. and im waffling now
  12. or St Bernard Herders? these 2 live by me, and the little Chi always gets a lift from his friend

  14. I havent posted the 2 collar charms yet as i dont have any addresses to post them to
  15. my 2 gingers are nutcases, but i think thats more related to their breed than colour
  16. Did they stay in your house cheryl? how much did they charge?
  17. Thanx everyone looks like it will be harder to get someone to mind them on the date we need rather than actually finding a house sitter, I dont think ill go to be honest, i thought it was for a week but theyve now told me its for 2 weeks, i dont think i can leave them that long
  18. I went to my dads last night and him and his wife have decided to go back to faliraki in august/september and they really want me to come, ive told them im not going anywere unless i know the dogs are safe and that i wont leave them with family (because i now have 3 dogs) and i dont trust anyone else. I wont put them in kennels with mitzi and kizzy being oldies and joey would be absolutely terrified, i would only trust someone to stay in my house with them. I was reading some sites and found these http://animalsathome.co.uk/wirral/dogcare.php Does anyone know of them? it says they will come out and stay in your home but im not too sure, mainly because i dont know them
  19. Sorry, it was my pc, ive fixed it now
  20. I was trying to post a homecheck needed thread and got this message when i went to post it: The error returned was: Authorization mismatch - please go back and try again. If you have been trying to access a function incorrectly, please use the proper method. I was messing about with my PC a few days ago and its been a bit squiffy ever since, so i dont know if its something ive done or something to do with the board?
