  5. I was about to start of by saying ' if you can't even trust the police...' but I sooo hope they are not your average coppa BE WARNED!!! DISTRESSING VIDEO!! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7869309.stm Two North Wales Police officers who were filmed kicking and throwing their pet dogs around have lost pay, but been allowed to keep their jobs. Pcs Anja Mason, 29, and Craig Macleod, 34, have both been docked 10 days' pay, the force has confirmed. They admitted causing suffering to the two dogs after a neighbour filmed the abuse at a house in Prestatyn. They were also given community sentences and were banned from keeping animals for five years. A hearing at Denbigh magistrates' court was told that RSPCA officers had been called to the home the pair shared on a number of occasions in spring 2008 by a concerned neighbour. However, on each visit, inspectors were unable to obtain evidence that the couple's rottweiler dog called Snoopy or a border collie puppy called Tess had been mistreated. Evidence The neighbour then set up a video camera to film the officers' back yard, capturing the evidence needed to bring the prosecution. A DVD showing 13 clips of ill treatment was shown to the court. In one scene Mason was filmed hitting the pup's head and kicking her. Later the dog was seen pulling washing from a line before Macleod emerged from the house and chased it to a corner of the yard. Out of shot of the camera the dog could then be heard yelping. In other scenes, Macleod sprayed the dogs with water and Mason was seen chasing the puppy with what appeared to be a stick. Mason received a sentence of 120 hours and Macleod received 180 hours. Both were ordered to pay £1,267.10 in costs. Both officers were removed from frontline duties by North Wales Police pending the outcome of the case against them, and the court had heard they faced losing their jobs. However, a North Wales Police spokeswoman confirmed on Wednesday that a disciplinary hearing ruled the officers should "forfeit" 10 days' pay. I don't think I have to tell anybody on here how I feel about these thugs...

  14. Fee ,I think nobody on here, including me , would call you scum,we all know your passion for your work but I hope that through all this your job will become more rewarding and better organised and most of all more respected. One thing I'd like to point out tho,is that to me it seems we (the whole country) seem to be concentrating too much on the results and victims, instead of trying to prevent and start at the roots of this all,ie promoting family-life and helping eachother with parenting skills,it's too much detail to go into now ,but I think that will be the right way to go in the long run
  15. seems my respond got lost in the move anyway wot I said was that is was horrible to watch cuz its the same way I lost my Bodhi also on the motorway but is was amazing how that second doggie came to the rescue and I think a person from highway-agency came to help them at the end of the clip ,it sure makes you wonder how much we under-estamate our k-9 friends...
  16. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7758897.stm I'm sorry but my feelings are, JUSTICE!!!
  17. for fun, http://reincarnationstation.com/ I will be a Tiger in my next life
  18. http://reluctant-messenger.com/reincarnation-proof.htm ' Some of these children have recognized former homes and neighborhoods as well as still-living friends and relatives. They have recalled events in their purported previous lives, including their often violent deaths. '
  19. Sam ,if that's true then you're doing a darn good job of it I'm sure you're dept will be payed off with interest yes Melps,I too do believe in reincarnation, I have some strange feelings my now 2yr old son was not treated so nicely as a baby/child in his previous life don't ask me why,it's just a feeling and the way he reacts to things around him
  20. Cheryl, they can not apply for anything of that kind until shortly before their release and personally ,I don't think it will help them anyway as too many people know them by now Fee, for me personally,I am actually actively looking into becoming more involved ,ie sure-start at our local family center ,am on that list already and with my youngest getting bigger now,I'll be able to spend more time there if I'm able to go,I will march for all those little ones that need(ed) help/saving,I think baby P is just a little hero who opened a lots of eyes and leads the way and if because of all this even only one child can be saved, then to me that's more then worth it I think this case has already changed the attitude of a lots of people and if this means families friends and neighbours keeping a closer eye on each other (in which ever way) then I think that's a fantastic result I don't know if you've seen the news but there are already changes happening in childcare and cases of children at high risk taken into care has rissen dramaticly since the outcome of the trail,IMHO that too can't be bad ;) (ps no offence taken )
