owl Posted September 22, 2022 Report Share Posted September 22, 2022 Little pests! I have just caught one in the tall flip top bin where I have a sack of bird seed. blackmagic Posted September 22, 2022 Report Share Posted September 22, 2022 We had a flip top bin for bird seed on the garage and found a well fed mouse running around inside it. Moved the bin 3 feet out from the wall and they still managed to jump in . they must either have jumped from the top of the freezer or climbed up the wall and jumped in. We installed ultrasonic deterrents, which kept them away. Being in the country , it was field mice we got coming in to get some protection from the colder weather. One day i was working in the shed and got that feeling that someone was watching me. I looked round and in the sack of straw in the corner there was a little with two beady eyes looking at me. I stayed still and it moved back into sack. I evicted the sack onto the top of the barrow outside. The mouse could drop down out of it but not get back in., so had to find somewhere else to live.
