sanrossscot
Tia is having another non-eating day, she had a small amount of porridge earlier but doesn't want anything now. It was a no to fish pie, toast, toast with peanut butter&jam, meatballs......
Jacobean
Sorry to hear this. Maybe try cheese, sausages, bacon, pilchards in tomato sauce. Strong smelling stuff.
gooster
One of the women at flyball swears by garlic prawns or garlic sausage. You can smell her treats a mile off, all the dogs love her. :GroupHug:
sanrossscot
Thanks for suggestions, I have tried all sorts to no avail. Last night she did have two plain biscuits and this morning she is looking brighter and has had a small amount of shepherds pie and I have porridge cooling at the moment. i am not sure, but we had tried reducing the steroids from 2 twice daily to 1, this started on Saturday which was when the appetite went down. Yesterday she didn't get her morning one and I gave her 2 when I got in - now she wants food again We are at the vet tonight so will ask
Clare
I think part of the side effects of steroids is increased appetite, we certainly have found that with Murf

sanrossscot
Just a little update, Tia is still in bouncy, hungry mode I have managed to get out of the course I was doing. I would have enjoyed it but I didn't want to be away for the whole week just in case. Of course, having done this she will be in top form all week no doubt
