cathrynlisa
As you command Front to back - Bobbie, Georgia and Lily Bobbie,we've had from a pup - we had another Boxer too, Reg, until last september when we lost him to Lymphoma at the age of 6 After this, Bobbie was very lonely, so as we had wanted a Chinese Crestie for a while, we enquired with Little Dog Rescue. Funnily enough, they had one coming in, so we were quickly homechecked and made plans to collect, but then the owner changed her mind. So we decided to foster until one came up. we fostered a little Westie called Raggy, who was a bit of a handful, but a lot of fun, then along came Lily - little dog with a big, big voice. Lily had had issues and had been through several foster homes, including one with a dog psychologist, Nikki Brown. Nikki worked wonders with her, and she went to a home as a foster but with a view to adopt. Unfortunately, she attacked their cat so she went to a temporary foster home until they could get her to us. Well she landed with four feet firmlyy on the ground here! She was very noisy, but there was something about her that just clicked. She soon let us know she wasn't going to get passed on again (I counted 6 fosters including the temp ones in between placements). Well, not long after that, Georgia came up - we took her on as a foster first, to make sure she was ok with Bobbie and Lily, but she wasfine, so we adopted her too. Then just a couple of weeks ago I was chatting to the lady we collected Georgia from about how lovely it is to see two cresties together, I had no idea she coincidentally was looking for a home for Georgia's half brother (this lady is a reputable breeder and is friends with others too and works with rescues when an adult needs rehoming). She'd been asked to find him a home as he had bitten a little boy. She was wary about where to place him in case it happened again and he was put to sleep, but knowing we had no little ones, and that we were taking good care of Georgia, she asked if we would like to take him - so we did! And here he is This is Rosco I have never had such an easy dog introduction as with this boy, he settled straight in and isso laid back it's hard to believe he could ever be aggressive, but naturally we will be careful around children. Some other pics (I like the way you post pics on this forum by the way) This was the day after Rosco came to stay You can see how he was so natural with us, we even let him offlead when there was no-one around This is my OH again with Lily and Georgia, and Lynne's (Zico's Mom's) Trixie and Duncan at Brean on the OC Spring Walkies I'll shut up now!
